Kinder Open Day

We warmly invite prospective families interested in Kinder in 2021 or 2022 to attend the St Mary's College Kinder Open Day on Tuesday 20 October.

milangkani birth to five program

Families are invited to get Setup for Success with the St Mary’s College milangkani program! Our first-ever birth to five program launched in August and has provided families of Hobart with the wonderful opportunity to come together and explore and discover new things with play-based, social learning. 

Early-childhood and current Kinder Koalas teacher, Meg Kitchen provides a variety of play-based educational activities to engage each child’s learning and curiosity in all areas of development. 

All families in the greater community with children aged between birth and five years old are warmly welcome to attend each Monday during term time. 

There are currently two sessions running on Mondays at 9.00am and 11.00am. Bookings are required and families are invited to attend a maximum of one weekly session. Numbers are currently restricted to 20 children per session due to COVID-19 capacity requirements.

Calling all knitters

Wool you like to knit one, pearl one, drop one for our future alumni babies?

These St Mary's College baby booties are so sweet and they would make a lovely gift and keepsake for the little ones who are joining our big alumni family.

We will be starting this project soon and would love the help of our alumni community. Patterns and wool will be provided. 

We'd also love to know about any soon-to-arrive alumni babies. If you or someone you know is soon to welcome a little love to their family, please let us know.
