Administration News and Weekly Awards

Compass:  If you are having trouble with Compass please update your app or uninstall and reinstall it.  As with all apps, Compass needs to be updated from time to time.  We have also fixed the glitch with the link to the newsletter so this issue will appear automatically in your newsfeed.  If you require new log in details for Compass please contact the office and we will send them to you via email. Eventually payments for activities etc will be able to be made through Compass however until this feature is available to us, Qkr! is our current option.  

 

Past Pupil News

Congratulations to Ella Patterson who is in Year 11 at McCarthy Catholic College.  Ella has been voted onto the School Leadership Council for Year 12. Her mum Dion was kind enough to share this news with us as she credits St Joey's for the input we had into Ella's primary education.

School Fees

A  reminder, that all fees were due on Friday the 11th of September, 2020.  These need to be finalised prior to the end of term.

 

Uniform

Due to the changeable weather, students are now able to wear either Full Summer Uniform or Full Winter Uniform to school. They are not allowed to wear a combination of both.  Students will return in Term 4 in full summer uniform.

 

School Supplies

Please renew your child's pencil case supplies as soon as possible to ensure they have the items they need here at school. 

 

Infants Awards

James Bowley for a fantastic effort with his independent writing skills, well done! Jorja Jamieson - for her motivation to improve her writing using VCOP and our writing "must haves". Jayden Willis - for enthusiastic participation in all learning tasks and always trying his best.

Stage 2 Awards

Clancy Flett- for being engaged and trying all the time during our fractions and decimal lessons. Jack Bennett- for always applying himself, listening to feedback and using his feedback to better his learning.

Stage 3 Awards

Faith Bennett - persistence in Maths this week while learning about decimals. Jack Wilson - an informative speech on Bull Sharks. Maddi O’Loughlin - great analysis of Morris Gleitzman’s writing techniques. Felicity Carroll - a massive growth in confidence when completing Maths tasks!
