Hays Paddock Playground Renewal

Community consultation is now underway to support the renewal of Hays Paddock Playground in Kew East. This much-loved play space was opened in 1998 as one of the first inclusive playgrounds in Australia – a real trailblazer for its time.

Due to its age and current condition, renewal works are required to help revitalise and continue its legacy. With limited lifespan remaining on several the timber structures and play elements within the space, the City of Boroondara is seeking community feedback to help determine a preferred option for renewal.

Community consultation closes on Sunday 13 February 2022, 4pm.
