Wellbeing

New Staff

There has been quite a lot of change within the Wellbeing Team. We’d like to give a big welcome to the newest member of our growing team, Katy Tulloch.

We asked Katy to write a little message describing her study and her new, exciting role within the Wellbeing Team during her time here:

My name is Katy Tulloch and I am currently completing my final year Social Work placement in the wellbeing team. During my 13-week placement at the secondary college I will be planning and implementing a 10-week program for Year 8 and Year 9 girls based around current issues that teenage girls face.

New Space

The Wellbeing team have moved to a larger area within the school to accommodate our growing staff numbers. It’s a beautiful space and we’ve been getting positive feedback and a lot of staff and student coming by to look over our new space.

R U OK Day

Currently Wellbeing are making preparations alongside Pastoral leaders for ‘R U OK Day?’ held on Thursday 12th September. We are all very excited to see what we can do to celebrate and honour the day which highlights the importance of mateship and togetherness in association with mental health, and how strong dialogue and community can tackle the various ‘ups and downs’ we can all experience.
