ECU Early Offer Program

ECU will be providing early offers to Year 12 students for 2024 entry.

How it works

If you're in Year 12 and have a predicted ATAR, or you're completing a Certificate IV or a recognised university enabling course that leads to undergraduate study, you can apply for an early offer for an ECU course.

We'll use your Year 11 results to calculate a predicted ATAR and if this meets the requirement for your nominated course, you'll receive an early offer securing your place. This will be subject to you achieving WACE and meeting the English requirements and any other prerequisites for your course (where relevant).

If you're studying a Certificate IV or enabling course, or if your predicted ATAR doesn't quite meet the minimum entry requirements for your course, you'll still be eligible for an early offer. This offer will be conditional on you meeting all entry requirements for your course. That means achieving the required ATAR with your final results or completing your Certificate IV or enabling course. You'll also need to achieve WACE and meet the English requirements and any other prerequisites for your course.

What courses can I get an early offer for?

You can apply for an early offer for a huge variety of undergraduate courses across these six study areas.

How to apply

To apply for an ECU early offer you need to submit an application through TISC, making your chosen ECU course the first preference. Early offers will be made from mid-July 2023.

UniPrep Accelerate and Summer

UniPrep Accelerate (C74) is our program for school leavers with a near-miss ATAR. It's an intensive 4-week university preparation course, run in January at our Joondalup Campus. On successful completion, you'll be able to start uni in Semester 1 with everyone else. Best of all, it's free! If you're expecting an ATAR between 55-69, you can apply for this course.

UniPrep Summer (C28) is another intensive university preparation course. UniPrep Summer runs from late November until the end of January.

Exams for most subjects are in late January or early February, so it's possible to successfully complete the course in time to start uni in Semester 1.

Please note that admission into UniPrep Accelerate and UniPrep Summer is through direct application via the ECU website. The application portal for this course is expected to open in mid-June 2023.
