Junior School

Year 4 Eucharist Retreat Day
The Year 4 Eucharist Retreat Day was held on Friday, 19 May in the Junior School Stem room. We were lucky to have six Youth Ministers from 24/7 Youth Ministry join us for the day and share their knowledge and faith journeys. Students worked in small groups over the day and focussed on their faith and knowledge of the Sacrament of the Eucharist.
An important day for students to take time away from the usual classroom routine, reflect and note why we celebrate the Sacrament of Eucharist and find out what happens during the Sacrament before they receive it at their Parish in the upcoming months.
By the end of the day, they had each created a hanging display that included all the important aspects of the Eucharist, which they could take home. They also had some yummy morning tea.

Year 6 Robotics
As part of a challenge, 6G students have been busy building and programming their Lego Mindstorms ev3’s. They are using coding to try and make their robots move in different directions, as well as follow a set path and stop on demand when there is an obstruction.
Holy Communion
Alex Ellery (4B) and Vance Stanley (4W) had their Holy Communion at St Kieran's in Tuart Hill recently. It was perfect timing after enjoying their retreat on Friday. Congratulations boys!
