During our Hobart Convention, delegates enjoyed a performance from BrightStars who were presented with a donation of $2,000 from First National Foundation by National Experience Manager, Suzi Cowperthwaite.
Harry Mezger has been presented with the prestigious First National Real Estate Leadership Award at the 2023 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards Victoria. Tom Cao, Director of FN JXRE (Clayton, Vic) represented the network as he handed over the award.
Harry Mezger is a neurodiverse athlete and fierce advocate for people living with a disability. His commitment to inclusion and passionate belief in the benefits of sport to disabled Australians has resulted in his appointment to the State Committee and the National Athlete Input Council at Special Olympics Australia. Harry is a popular Athlete Leader and mentor to other intellectually disabled athletes. He has represented Australia in cycling and athletics.
The network extends its congratulations to Ryan Davis, winner of the First National Real Estate Leadership Award in Tasmania.
Ryan, 27 of Devonport is an Intensive Care Paramedic with Ambulance Tasmania. He provides clinical coaching to his peers and high-quality simulation training for interns. Ryan presented at the Australasian College of Paramedicine International Conference in 2021 to discuss the implementation of pre-hospital thrombolysis. Ryan is also part of the Ambulance Tasmania Clinical Advisory Committee, which makes decisions on the evolution of Paramedicine in Tasmania.
It's congratulations to Isabel Natividad, winner of the First National Real Estate Leadership Award in the 2023 Queensland Young Achiever Awards.
Isabel Natividad advocates for inclusivity and is a young LGBTIA+ Aboriginal woman. She took the Inclusivity Leadership position and worked with her school's leadership to introduce the celebration of NAIDOC and other Indigenous celebrations, Pride Month and more.
In 2021, she was chosen to attend the The University of Queensland Young Changemakers program, where she won Best Pitch. She is studying a Bachelor of Science in Physics at the The University of Melbourne.
