Over the next two weeks some of our senior school students will be partaking in Puberty/ Sexual Education sessions with Sandy Darwin. This week a letter will be sent home to parents/carers providing an overview of the session. Students involved will be working with Sandy, an experienced Registered Nurse/Midwife within the area of Reproductive Sexual Health (RSH). Puberty changes, anatomy & physiology of both male and female reproductive systems and reproduction, will be topics of discussion. The planned session is full of fun activities for the students to learn about their body, in a positive shared learning environment.
PARENT TIPS FROM
Practise a weekly gratitude ritual - It's called *GLAD*
Gratitude
Learning
Accomplishment
Delighted
Something we’re grateful for
Something we’ve learned
Something we’ve achieved
Something that brought us joy
It's a lovely way to build a mindset of gratitude through simple reflection.
