Still Cooking at Home

Students and teachers are all working very hard and coming up with some fantastic food while they are cooking at home with families still being able to enjoy the end result.

A Youtube channel has been created to support the year 8 students learning from home.

Well done to all.

Sustainable Packaging

Year 8 students were asked to research eco-friendly and sustainable food packaging options.  Ryan Gray researched and re-designed a home delivered food item and sent the following letter to the company....

"Dear  delivery person

I have found that your product is using plastic and I would like for you to see my redesign of your packaging if you would care to look,

I left a prototype in the box as well as a design template

First you get 2 sheets of ecofriendly cling film/wrap. SugarWrap eco cling wrap is a good product to use

(I used staples to hold it together but use heat and melting,) You would melt the sides and bottom so they both stick together and place food inside no need for plastics. After that you can use an ecofriendly ribbon to tie the top shut.

If you have any inquiries about the product call me

Kind Regards

Ryan Gray"
