From the Principal Class Team

Athletics Carnival

On Friday, 4 May all 7-10 students participated in the School Athletics Carnival.  It was a wonderful day with some superb efforts, both by individuals and teams.  Congratulations to Buttrose, the House scoring the most points on the day.  All those who competed or supported the competitors are to be congratulated, it was a wonderful day for everyone.  Thanks to Mr Lakovski and the Sports Team for the organisation of this large event and also to all the staff who spent the day ably supporting the athletes and managing the supporters, it was a positive and successful day that was a pleasure to attend.

Careers expo

On Thursday, 3 May all Year 11 students took part in the Careers expo at Caulfield racecourse.  This was a hugely successful event which provided students with valuable information about future pathways and career possibilities.  Thank you to the Senior Subschool Team for their organisation and management of what was a great opportunity for all who attended.  Students are encouraged to seek further information from the Careers Team in relation to careers that may have sparked their interest on this day or for any Careers they may be considering.

Year 10-11 Exams

From Thursday, 31 May until Friday, 8 June the Year 10-11 Examination program is running.  Year 12 Practice exams are also running in some classes at the end of the term but for many classes these are scheduled during the break.  A timetable of these will be distributed so that all students know when their exams are on.  The Year 9 Semester tests will run from Monday, 4 June to Friday, 8 June.  Students should start to prepare now so that they are best placed to demonstrate their understanding of the skills, knowledge and understandings for each of their subjects.

Please note that hoodies and other non uniform tops, any scarves apart from the school scarf, and other non uniform items must not be worn at school, or on the way to or from school.
