Supporting Your Child
at Secondary School
At the recent Year 7 BBQ and last years Parent Teacher Student Conferences, we have had many parents enquire as to how they could support their child at home with their learning. As a result we will be running a number of sessions to work with parents in 2017.
All Year 7 and 8 parents and guardians are invited to attend an information evening focusing on how families can support their child in their secondary schooling. Topics being covered on the evening are – reading conferences, generalised information in regards to learning at Staughton and a session from the Wellbeing Team on Tuning into Teens. This is a great opportunity for parents and guardians to find additional ways to support their child in their learning and throughout their teenage years. Notices have been given to all Year 7 and 8 students this week. Parents and Guardians are asked to RSVP by Tuesday 21st March via the General Office.
