Cultural Diversity Week

We would like to invite everyone to join in our celebration of our cultural diversity in week 8. That’s from March 20-24.

On Monday of week 8, DJ Will and his crew will bring us World Music during lunch time radio. We also have the Soccer World Cup competition. Sign-up sheets are on the community board outside the EAL room.  There are prizes to be won, so sign up today!

Tuesday is HARMONY DAY, and we have a gelato truck coming in at lunch time. That’s right! For $3.50, you can pick plain, sherbet, candy, chocolate, mango or strawberry/lemon.  We also have spectacular Traditional Performances.

Wednesday is FRENCH DAY. We’ve got $2.00 crepes at recess outside the kitchens, and a French movie at lunch time in the multi.

On Thursday, we have the Cultural Fashion Parade and even more traditional performances to entertain you at lunch time.

And on Friday, we have our Tastes of the World lunch in the multi.  For $5, you can have authentic traditional food from all over the world.  This includes rice, a main dish, a pasta/noodle dish, and finger food. Tickets will be sold on the day.
