Student Book Review

Thomas wakes up with no memory of himself or how he ended up in huge maze. Only boys surround him until that day when the first girl entered the vast maze. Confusion spreads like a wild fire as every minute ticks closer to the end of their survival. As trust, love and friendship is formed can Thomas get his friends out of the maze alive and safe and as far away as possible out of the monster infested maze?

I loved this book because of how when your reading from Thomas’ view whatever he learns or friendship he’s formed you do the exact same. It’s a thrilling, nail-biting story to read and at the end of the whole journey you feel exhausted just like if you were running through the maze. This book made me cry, laugh and squeal at the amazing thrilling moments.

The love story is filled with betrayal and hope making it a great addition to the main plot. The plot twists are so unexpected that you take a few minutes to read over it again until you know you’re not dreaming and as you read through the twists, James Dashner writes them casually but to you, you’re in utter shock. It’s amazing! I have never forgotten this story and I never will. I loved it. That’s why I gave it five stars. It’s my favourite book series.
