MUSIC CAMP CANCELLED

Due to the unfolding events and uncertainty surrounding the Coronavirus COVID-19, the Department of Education and Training have announced that all camps and excursions scheduled to commence from and including Tuesday 17 March must be postponed, rescheduled or cancelled.

As a result, this year's Music Camp (17th - 19th April) is now cancelled. This is disappointing however necessary to ensure the health and safety of our community. We apologise for any inconveniences caused. We hope to be back bigger and better next year!

Helpful Tips for Instrument Hygiene

In light of current climates, please remember to always practise safe hygiene especially when coming to your music lessons and practising at home. Some tips on how to maintain good hygiene habits:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly before coming to your music lessons.
2. Wipe your instrument down after using it with a disinfecting wipe or a dry cloth.
3. Clean your mouthpiece regularly.
4. Avoid sharing mouthpieces and reeds.
5. Wash your hands after practising.
6. Do not handle your instrument while eating or drinking.

VCE Dance

Congratulations to our VCE Dance students who performed today as the culmination of their work every Thursday Period 1 with the Australian Ballet for the last 4 weeks. Students were also treated to an original performance of "Plain Jane" by two of the Australian Ballet dancers. A huge thank you to Jordan Evans for organising this exciting collaboration and opportunity for our dance students.
