Kildare v Christian College

Kildare played the first game of the Bill Turner Cup Football/Soccer knockout competition for 2018 against Wagga Wagga Christian College. Max Prest opened the scoring early in the game with a sensational free kick and then added a second to  give the team a flying start to the match. A 4-0 lead at half time gave Kildare a confidence boost heading in the second half. Oscar Knight added 2 more goals in the second half to finish with 4 goals in total. Goals to Irish Freemantle, Josh Timothy-Nesbitt, Ethan Fuller and Ben Toohey gave Kildare a comfortable win. Whilst at the other end for the Kildare, our goalkeeper had a very quiet time only having to touch the ball a few times in Kildare’s 10-0 win over Christian College.

Kildare now have to face a tough opponent in Wagga Wagga High School in the next round.
