A very special book ‘A Mother As Loving As You’ written by Uncle Jimmy Ingram, who was a senior Wiradjuri Elder, is central to our main book display this week. This book is a heartfelt tribute by Uncle Jimmy Ingram to his mother, showing his deep respect for her and the strength she showed as she cared for her family and others and dealt with challenges throughout her life.
There are so many wonderful book titles to choose from so come on in to the Resource Centre to select some to read.
“Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counsellors, and the most patient of teachers” Charles William Eliot (Academic and Harvard President).
