Year 1 & 2 Museum Excursion

Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 Excursion to the Museum

Clara: On Tuesday, the Preps, Year 1s and Year 2s went to the Melbourne Museum on a bus. At the museum, we saw an abundance of dinosaur bones. There were baby dinosaurs and adult ones. It was really amazing!

Archer C: I really liked looking at the colourful crystals because they were really iconic, valuable and interesting. When we were going down the steps of the forest walk, it was very ominous but we saw a lot of cute animals!

Benji: At the museum we did a workshop called ‘Grandmother’s Toybox’ in the Learning Lab. We got to see an old footy made out of wombat fur, an old camera, an old Barbie doll and an old gaming console. It was interesting and we saw lots of different toys!

John: We went to the mini model museum and we saw mini models of an abundance of things. For example, we saw the Colosseum from Rome, the Eiffel Tower, an old steam train and old-fashioned trams. It was very fun to look around and see all of the models.
