Yr 7-9 Interschool Sport

Our Year 7-9 students have had a successful start to our interschool sports event this term with our Year 9 Girls making it to the Western Metro Region finals led by supercoach Ms Karras. The girls were able to win their first game 3-1 with Clarissa from 9E scoring a hattrick, a fantastic effort! Well done to all the girls involved.

Big shoutout to Alexis in 8A who has represented Brookside P-9 College proudly with her amazing efforts in the State and Victorian All School cross country events with a top 20 and 6 finish, congratulations Alexis.

Just this week again Ms Karras and her highly talented Year 9 Girls won the Maribyrnong Division basketball grand final in an outstanding game against Lakeview. The girls were highly competitive all day and played with great spirit, well done girls and good luck with the upcoming WMR final coming up in term 4. Shoutout the Year 9 Boys who also represent Brookside P-9 College in basketball and table tennis.

We have a busy end to term with upcoming events for our Year 8 & 7 students who will also be competing in table tennis and basketball within our Maribyrnong Division, and good luck to our students represent the school in the Maribyrnong Division Athletics finals next Friday.
