Zombie Fun Run 

@ Athletics Carnival

“Fun at every speed, dressed like a Zombie”

Organised by the VCAL Personal Development Skills (PDS) class, students have developed the Zombie Fun Run project for the Staughton College Athletics Day, scheduled for 27th May 2022.  The project supports the 2022 School Production – “The Horde”.  

Each student who dresses up like a Zombie will pay a gold coin donation fee and be entered into our major raffle prize draw.  The main objective of the run or walk — which will loop around the athletics track is to raise money for charity, have lots of fun and for students to be in the chance of winning some excellent prizes. 

This event has been promoted on school radio by our Project Leader, Jayden in week 3 with more radio planned. Posters will be located throughout the school and the PDS students are planning classroom visits to promote the event. We have over $300 of quality sports and rebel sports merchandise for prizes. Funds raised will are to be donated by VCAL students to a local charity. 

We want Staughton students to participate in this event aimed to raise money for a local charity. We hope this “dress up” day will result in students coming together as a community and having lots of fun. We will take lots of photos of the day, make a video, and support the school production.
