THE SEASON OF ADVENT IS SOON UPON US!
Advent is the four weeks before Christmas. It is a time of joyful preparation for the celebration of Jesus' birth as our Savior.
Many people like to use a special calendar to help them mark the days until Christmas. You can use this calendar to remind you and your children to do something each day to share the meaning of the season. We can think about what we need to do to prepare ourselves during Advent.
SACRAMENTS 2020:
I will ensure I keep all families updated about Sacrament timelines and processes for next year once we have the necessary details.
Father Gerry has asked that I remind you of the parish website which has fabulous articles, children’s activities and a Weekly Nourishmentlink. Click on the highlighted words and they should take you to the appropriate section. Also each week in the Family Page and Fun Worksheetssection of the website there are links to that weekend's Gospel activities. There are two gospel links: one for the juniors and one for the seniors. These activities can be downloaded and printed or just viewed. These worksheets will help the children understand the gospel message for that particular reading.
