Principal News

I cannot be more proud of the CSPS students, parents and staff with the recent 'Circuit Breaker' COVID 5 day lockdown.  We automatically went into action in relation to how best to support each other and remind ourselves of what is truly most important - our wellbeing.

I wish to thank the staff who were able to support students of essential workers and/or vulnerable students on site.

Monique Corcoran

PRINCIPAL

Ms Forbes set Mrs Corcoran a challenge to complete a Food Handlers Course with Year 4b as part of the new Environmental Studies class. Cooking is not Mrs Corcoran's strength :) and a number of staff felt she may find this challenging.  Thank you to Riley F who helped Mrs Corcoran along the way.

Karen Halket has been appointed the Acting Assistant Principal for Term 1, whilst Sally Herbert is on leave.  Karen is a highly regarded member of the CSPS family, with a breadth of experience and expertise in the area of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning.

Generations of fun at CSPS

We have many families at CSPS who are generationally connected to our school.

Below are cousins and second cousins of the Dean, Alder, Prendergast and Ryland families whose families have been a part of CSPS since 1984.

Capital Works

With much excitement, the Capital Works project is finally starting next Tuesday 23rd February.  This will commence with fencing and safety measures put in place.  We congratulate Newton Manor in being the successful builders.  It will be so much fun watching the building take shape.

Congratulations to

Spotlight @ CSPS in 2021

New focus

The aim of the Spotlight is to enhance the CSPS student wellbeing program, including a listening and speaking focus and creating authentic opportunities to practise social goals and targets. The awards have a wellbeing social focus.

Every student from each class will get a turn at being in the Spotlight. They will be the Spotlight student for the week. A notice will be sent home letting families know when it is their child’s turn. Students can choose to make a poster, video, slideshow, bring in special items etc to present to their class on the chosen day.
