Teaching and Learning

Welcome to Term Three!

Our students and teachers are all very excited to be in new learning spaces to start the term, and equally excited to have new spaces to explore across the school grounds.

Staff have done an amazing job to ensure regular learning experiences for all of our students from the very start of the term and this has resulted in a very settled classroom tone and familiar learning routines regardless of the new learning environments. The Davey Building, Millie Building and Brady Building are all operational and have features that promote quality teaching and learning throughout.

We are proud to offer spaces that will promote collaborative learning across classes. All of our buildings currently operating, have a Gallery that allows for classes to come together and engage in the same learning experiences and work cooperatively with their peers.

Book Nooks are being established to promote a love of reading and provide easy access to a wide range of literature and various reading materials. These spaces have been furnished with comfortable seating to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience for all of our readers.

Classrooms have been fitted out with Audio-visual equipment to enhance engaging and quality learning opportunities and each building has already achieved a 'learning community' feeling across the classrooms.

The term has started with pleasing success and we are all looking forward to maximising the potential of our new facilities.

To ensure that our families remain informed as to the learning that is occurring across the term, PLC Leaders will provide the Term Three Overview for each year level in next week's newsletter. Please keep a lookout for this important information and take some time to connect with your child about the learning that is taking place.
