The Term Ahead

Welcome back from the holidays. Trusting everyone had a restful and enjoyable time with family and friends especially seeing we were one of the only states NOT in lockdown!! All good things to those who wait.

Our school's overarching inquiry theme this term is COMMUNITY. Staff and students alike will be working hard to bring our St Therese community together throughout the term with many school events. As such, the term ahead promises to be a busy one once again. Here are just a few of the events planned:

  • St Vincent de Paul Food Drive: First two weeks of term
  • Student Led Conferences:  27th July 2:00pm - 7:30pm & 28th July 4:00pm - 5:30pm
  • Photo Day: 4th August
  • Bedtime Prayer Night for Foundation & Year 1: 5th August
  • Year 3-6 Swimming Program: 24th - 27th August & 31st August - 3rd September
  • Mini Olympics: 26th July
  • Market Day TBC
  • Book Week: 16th August
  • Lightning Premiership: 17th August
  • Father's Day Breakfast: 3rd September
  • Andrew Chinn Whole School RE Incursion:13th September
  • Footy Day: 17th September

Make sure you place these dates in your diary.

The Building Project is also well underway with many changes already happening. It is an exciting time in St Therese's history that we will all be able to benefit and enjoy in the very near future.

The Building Project has rendered the Canteen 'out of bounds' this term. Consequently, we have managed to organise the ordering of Subway lunches as an alternative throughout Term 3. Lyn Harris has been liaising with our local Subway Outlet to make this happen. Orders for lunches will be on Mondays and Wednesdays and this will commence the second week of term. Orders need to be placed online by the previous Thursday before 10am, for the following week, using the Flexischools App.

Have a great week ahead and if you have any questions regarding any of the abovementioned events, do not hesitate to contact the school.

Working in partnership.
