Please return overdue books

Students are asked to please find any overdue library books over the school holidays and return these at the start of Term 3.

Overdue notices have been issued to students and their parents/guardians this week as a reminder of their outstanding books.

We encourage you to return these books as soon as possible to avoid paying replacement costs for lost items.

Access eBooks for school holiday reading

Students can continue to use the EDSC Library during school holidays by borrowing eBooks and audiobooks from the Sora library app.

Sora allows all of EDSC’s eBooks and audiobooks to be accessed easily on devices anytime, anywhere, making it perfect for school holiday reading.

It is also a fun way for students to track their reading stats and earn badges.

Until August 20, Sora is running the Sweet Reads program, which offers 29 books and audiobooks that are always available for unlimited borrowing. The unlimited titles range from young adult fiction to easy reader novels and from romance stories to Marvel superhero tales.

Sora can be accessed online at soraapp.com or can be downloaded to phones from app stores for use outside of school. Instructions on how to use Sora are available on our Library website.
