From the Office

General Office

The General Office/Reception is operating from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday throughout the school term. Due to current restrictions, we are practicing social distancing and can only accommodate up to a maximum of six people in the Reception foyer at one time. If you are required to come to the General Office, please report to Reception then take a seat until we can attend to your enquiry.

We advise parents/guardians that if you have any queries, please call us on 9842 2244. We will endeavour to assist you with your enquiry over the phone rather than having to come in to Reception. Alternatively you can email  east.doncaster.sc@education.vic.gov.au and we will ensure that your enquiry is forwarded to the appropriate person.

Please fill in the attached CSEF form and return to the College with a copy of your concession card if you are eligible to receive CSEF  for 2021.

If you were an eligible recipient last year in 2020, you do not need to re-apply, your 2020 application will roll over to 2021, however, if your concession card has expired, you will need to send in a copy of the new card to the College, noting the student name on the copy.

You will need to fill in a new form if

  • the parent/carer is applying for the CSEF payment for the first time – i.e. an application form was not lodged with the school in the previous year; or
  • circumstances have changed – e.g. there has been a change in the care arrangement of the student, a change of name or CRN, or a new sibling has commenced at the school and the parent/carer wishes to apply for the CSEF payment for the new sibling.

Student Accident Insurance

Parents and guardians are reminded that the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development does not provide personal accident insurance for students while at school or during any school related activity including camps and excursions.

Parents and guardians are responsible for paying the cost of medical treatment for injured students, including any transport costs. Student accident insurance policies are available from some commercial insurers. These cover a range of medical expenses not covered by Medicare or private health insurance. It is also highly recommended that families have Ambulance Victoria Membership Cover if it is not included in your private health cover. Ambulance costs are very expensive and are not covered by Medicare.
