Literacy Week

As we approach literacy week at our school, we are launching a 'book drive' to further share the love of reading across our classes by re-homing any books children do not read anymore.

We would like to ask if you could please consider donating some well-conditioned pre-loved books to our school community?

These books could be either fiction or non-fiction. The books would be used throughout our class libraries as well as integrated to other parts of our school curriculum. ‘Boxes for Books’ containers will be placed outside the Office, Boorai and Library beginning the week of Monday 22nd August. They will be there all week. At the end of the week we will ask the Library captains to count how many books we re-homed to our libraries.

Your help and donations would be much appreciated!

Many thanks,

Nicole Donnelly and Kate Warner
