Measurement Fun
The Year 3/4 students have been learning about measurement. We have focused on measuring with formal and informal units as well as identifying which unit of measurement (mm, cm or m) best matches what we are trying to measure.
On a very cold and windy day, students used a variety of measuring tools such as trundle wheels, tape measures and their feet to measure parts of the school such as the Medwell Oval. Students have also started learning about perimeter and the importance of measuring each side of an object as well as writing the correct unit of measurement.
