Go for Gold

St Anthony's School has registered and is participating in Go for Gold in Term 4!

Get your shoes, bikes and scooters ready to walk, ride or scoot to school in Term 4!

Glen Eira City Council is running a Golden Ticket competition for the period of Go for Gold 2022 (3-28 October). The competition aims to assist registered schools to engage and encourage their students to walk, ride or scoot to school for the month of October (Monday 3 to Friday 28). A student prize (Fitbit Ace) per participating school and an interschool trophy are up for grabs.

You will receive a Golden Ticket at the start of Term 4 and after an active month, you’ll be able to submit your entry into the draw to win a Fitbit Ace as well as help our school take out the interschool honours!

Each student will receive a Golden Ticket at the start of term four (provided by Council, distributed by schools). 

Following each walk, ride or scoot to school, the student’s parent/guardian will tick a box on the student’s Golden Ticket. 

At the end of the four weeks of Go for Gold, the student or their parent/guardian will enter them into the competition by  completing the online entry form via www.gleneira.vic.gov.au/golden-ticket  

Students must complete a minimum of 10 activities to or from school during 3-28 October to be eligible to enter the competition. 

Entries must be submitted between Friday 28 October and 5pm on Friday 4 November, 2022  via www.gleneira.vic.gov.au/golden-ticket 

Council will draw the student prize for each participating school on Monday 14 November and will notify each school of their student prize winner by Wednesday 16 November.  Your school will notify its student prize winner in writing and present the student prize to the winner by no later than Friday 2 December.

Mark Friday 21 October in your diaries because we will be encouraging teachers, students and parents to participate in a car free day so everyone walks, rides or scoots to school.
