Term 3 Week 8

INTEGRATED

The Alice in Wonderland cast from Year 5/6 have all been very busy learning lines and practising actions. We have now had two whole school rehearsals and everything is looking amazing, from class items to going down the rabbit hole! We now have two weeks until the production and everyone is having to step up their act. 

While the 5/6s are practising lines, I'm sure all the other classes are extremely busy learning class dances. All of the cast members look AMAZE on stage and off from the Mad Hatter to Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum. We all can't wait for the 14th of September!

MATHS

We started this term learning about different strategies we can use to solve Division Problems and then moved on to Shape and Transformations. We used different transformations (Translation, Rotation and Reflection) to create tessellations using both regular polygons and shapes we created ourselves. 

ENGLISH

In English we have been learning about different types of poetry. We have learnt about Cinquains, Free Verse Poetry, Limericks, Haiku, concrete poetry and black out poetry.
