Welcome to our second last newsletter for Term 3. Time has certainly flown.
Fathers' Day Breakfast
Thank you to all who made the breakfast enjoyable. To the wonderful PFA team who cooked and served breakfast for our deserving dads! It certainly looked like a good time was had by all the dads, grandads, special friends and children alike.
Alice In Wonderland Performance
Students are busy rehearsing their parts and songs for the night and are having a blast doing so. I have had the privilege of watching a dry run of the performance and I can honestly say it is magical. It is a real testament to the students, who have absolutely taken over their rolls with such enthusiasm and pride. It is humbling to witness and I am so excited for you all to see the hard work on the night! Keep the night free, Wednesday 14 September 2022. Tickets are now only available from the School Office. They are $15.00 per person with a limit of 4 tickets per family. You can purchase them either via credit card or exact amount of cash.
Bunnings
We were privileged to have Bruce and Paul from Chadstone Bunnings work with our students today in re establishing our Veggie Garden. The children were taught about sustainability and maintaining a healthy garden crop. The seedlings have been planted and now we all wait for the crops to grow and then be harvested. We also had Mrs Zof McInerney, a former teacher of our school, come to work with the children and will continue to be our guiding hand. Getting hands dirty seemed to be lots of fun so please take the time to ask your child tonight what was planted.

The end of term is near! A reminder that the last day of Term 3 is Friday 16th September at 1.30pm. Should you need aftercare, please contact them directly to arrange your spot.

Dear God, Bless all the father figures in our lives who have accepted the responsibilities of being a parent. Guide them to be outstanding role models to their children. Let them look to your example and to parent with patience, unconditional love and understanding. Amen.
