 MUSIC PROGRAM TO OFFER VET MUSIC 2023

Well it’s great news to all the music lovers out there in our college community.  In 2023 we are excited to offer a VET Music course (Certificate 3 in Music Industry in Performance).

This is an exciting opportunity for any student who has musical abilities to take on the Certificate course which contributes to their VCE Atar score.  Also our Year 9 students can choose this subject as their SIP(Special Interest Program) for 2023 and have the Certificate completed by the end of 2024.

The music world, this day an age, has opened up many opportunities for students to explore a pathway into the Music industry.  Students who undertake the VET Music course at Epping Secondary College in 2023 may use this certificate to be a Functions manager, Sound Engineer and/or a Music performer.  It may also suit anyone who has a genuine love for music and the Arts.

We are really excited to offer this course to all our current Year 9 students going to Year 10 next year and to those students in Year 10 going to year 11 next year. Please look at the units of study on the flyer below.  All students will have the opportunity to select this course very soon.  Please register your interest now. 

Please note that the course will require a minimum number of students to run in 2023.
