Term 3 is set to be another exciting and busy time for Magis! Competitions and events galore: Mock Trials; Creative Edge; Tournament of Minds; Da Vinci Decathlon; FameLab Academy; Chess Tournament; Bell Shakespeare Seminar; Magis Camp to Point Walter; Homeroom and House Challenges…to name but a few! Our first competition kicks off this Wednesday, with our Senior Ethics Team competing in the International Ethics Olympiad final. They will be going up against the gold and silver medallist from New Zealand, Canada, China, India, Singapore, and Hong Kong. We wish our team the best of luck!

A reminder that entries for the 2022 College Creative Writing Competition close next Friday 29 July (Term 3, Week 2). This competition is open to students from Years 7 to 12 and encourages imagination, innovation, and creativity. Short stories can be on a topic of your choice – and House points will be awarded for participation. A collection of the best stories will be published. There are great book prizes for the best entries per year level – with the top entry receiving a trophy at this year’s Magis Awards. Further details can be found by clicking on the attached link.
