SWPBS reward system

Positive acknowledgment is a major component of our School Wide Positive Behaviour Support framework (SWPBS). At Aitken Hill Primary School we pride ourselves on our school values of caring for yourself, caring for others, caring for your learning and caring for your school. In recognition of students who are following our school values they may receive a CARES ticket.

How can students earn a CARE ticket?

When a student has been observed following school expectations, they may be given a CARE ticket. Students who have also followed a teacher’s instructions, uphold the school values, carried outa task or shown initiative may all receive a CARE ticket.

How can students redeem their CARE tickets?

Students can choose items from our booklet based on the number of CARE tickets they have. Once students have redeemed their reward, the process begins again and students will continue to receive additional CARE tickets when they have been observed displaying the school expectations!
