WheelTalk Incursion
On Tuesday, the Year 11 and 12 VCAL students participated in a WheelTalk incursion presented by Disability Sport and Rec Victoria.
Our presenter, Peter, spoke about his journey from humble beginnings in Nigeria, to his world travels and involvement in powerlifting, basketball and now playing Wheelchair AFL for the Richmond Tigers.
After learning about the importance of diversity, acceptance and inclusion, the students participated in a wheelchair basketball match which was a lot of fun.
