Music

Written by Michael Lapiña

Such a busy time as our Term Four creeps very quickly to the end of our year.

Our time in the Music classroom has been focussed on catching up with many of the classes that missed out on some sessions in the previous terms.  This is always exciting for the students because it means they had more than one Music Lesson in one week.

It just goes to show how engaged our students get when they are given the opportunity to express themselves.

In the meantime, the other classes have commenced practicing their Christmas Carols in their classrooms.  Eventually, they will come to the Music room which has been converted into a make-shift recording studio.  Each student will get the opportunity to record themselves singing their Christmas Carols.  We cant wait to see what they come up with.

Our Year Six students have also self-nominated to form a Year Six Graduation Choir which will perform at their graduation ceremony in December.  They have selected a couple of songs that they hope will entertain their parents and teachers.
