The Old Scholars Team of 1965
The 1965 St Virgil’s Old Scholars Senior Team

Ross Parker Captained the Tasmanian Amateur Team and was awarded the medal for best player in the second tier of the 1962 National Carnival. He also won the Best & Fairest Medal at the Australian Amateur Football Carnival in 1962 in Melbourne, Captained the Tasmanian team at the 1964 carnival and won two Southern Old Scholars Association Best & Fairest Awards and several club B&F’s.
Ross’ medal from the 1962 carnival is on loan to the College and is displayed in the Centenary History Centre at Austins Ferry.
