In literacy, this term we will be focusing on non-fiction texts in reading and writing. We started by discussing all the different types of information texts there are including:

Fact books, internet, newspaper, brochure, map, catalogues, instruction manuals, biographies and posters… to name a few. To try and remember, we made anchor charts in our writing books.

Throughout this term in maths, we will be practising multiplication and division. We will be completing lots of fun activities to build fluency and strategies to think multiplicatively. On Monday, we went on a hunt around the school searching for arrays. It was very exciting and we learnt that an array must have equal rows and columns… and that they were everywhere!
