Welcome to Term 4

There are lots of exciting things to come during Term 4! We are really looking forward to rehearsing and performing our songs for the Mary Poppins Jr video!

In English, we will be using our reading comprehension skills to build literal and inferential meaning, writing narratives and information pieces, and continuing to develop our knowledge of word-building using things like suffixes and prefixes.

We will be exploring money and financial matters in Maths, as well as deepening our understanding of telling time, place value and the four operations.

In Religion we will be looking at the Scripture stories about Jesus, and looking forward to Christmas through the Advent period.

Our Topic unit for this term is all about the Physical Sciences. We are starting the term looking at push and pull forces, and will also be examining light and sound when we return to school. How exciting!
