Important Dates

IMPORTANT DATES TERM 4

• Monday 4th October: Term 4 begins with remote learning resuming at 9am.
• Tuesday 5th October: School Advisory Council Meeting 7.30pm
• Thursday 7th October: MACS school surveys (MACSSIS) shared with staff, students and families.
• Thursday 14th October: Prep online orientation #2, storytime with Miss Mardling.
• Monday 18th October: Staggered return of students begins this week. All staff back onsite, with the exception of classroom teachers who are teaching remotely.
• Tuesday 19th October 7pm: Online Prep 2022 parent information session.
• We are hopeful that the Sacraments of Eucharist and Reconciliation for our Year 3s and Year 4s can go ahead this term. Fr Alan will keep us updated when he receives guidance from Archbishop Comensoli.
• Tuesday 2nd November: Melbourne Cup public holiday; school closed.
• Thursday 4th November: Prep 2022 orientation #3, hopefully onsite.
• Monday 29th November: school closure 2022 planning and handover of student information to new teachers. Extend will be operating on this day.
• Tuesday 30th November: Filming of Mary Poppins Jr.
• Wednesday 1st/ Thursday 2nd December: Year 3 and Year 4 school camp to ‘Camp Sunnystones’. Tbc and depending upon travel restrictions 
• Thursday 2nd December: Final prep orientation
• Saturday 4th or Sunday 5th December: tentative dates for an end of year family barbecue and social gathering (outdoors)
• Monday 6th December: Moving Up Day; orientation morning with 2022 classroom teachers. New students will be attending for the full day.
• Monday 6th December (afternoon): Year 5 captaincy speeches for 2022 leadership roles.
• Tuesday 7th December: Year 6 Big Day Out
• Thursday 9th December: Grade 3-6 Swimming Carnival
• Tuesday 14th December: Year 6 Graduation and celebration 7pm (details tbc)
• Wednesday 15th December: Last day for all students, Prep to Year 6. 1pm finish 
• Thursday 16th December: Last day for staff

2022 Dates

• Staff return for professional learning/ planning:  Thursday 27th January and Friday 28th January
• All Students return on Monday 31st January- including preps
• Preps full time from day one- no Wednesdays off in February
