PE in Term 4

Welcome to PE in Term 4! My name is Miss Wood and I will be your new PE teacher for Term 4. 

Although we have not been able to have the normal competitions and extra-curricular sporting events with current lockdowns, the students have done so well to get moving and outdoors during online learning. It was great to meet the Year 2 class this week and to have some fun moving and being active together online. 

When we return to school, there will be an emphasis on teamwork and reconnecting through sports and outdoor play. We will be focussing on basketball skills across all year levels and will participate in physical activities designed to enhance fitness, and discuss the impact of regular participation on health and wellbeing.

We will be going outdoors whenever possible, weather dependent, therefore it is important that children come to school with their hats and labelled water bottles for the term head!
