PRAYER

Year 6 Blue have been writing some beautiful prayers for the Iwatani family under the guidance of Mrs Doheny.  They had a beautiful presentation with Mr and Mrs Iwatani and Paige.  Thank you to Shahe for this beautiful written and presented prayer.

It was great to see all the boys back in the last couple of days.  While I think all the teachers did a great job with online learning, face-to-face is definitely better.  While there was some good banter online, I find face-to-face much better.  Maybe it is my vintage!  Thank you to all the parents who have helped get the boys organised with haircuts and in some cases new shoes.  The boys are very excited to be back.

On Monday we had an amazing experience from nature where a queen bee bought a whole swarm of bees to a Jacaranda tree outside the 6 Green classroom and Junior Library.  There was much excitement, windows were closed and the dad jokes ensued such as "you need to bee have". Fortunately they flew off before the final bell of the day.

Reminder

Boys require a crunch and sip every day except Thursdays.  Please note the different venues for this Thursday and therefore the different pick-ups as per Mr McBrearty’s Sports Section below.

On Thursdays we will leave for Oxford Falls at the beginning of recess so please ensure your son doesn’t have a 10.30 am music lesson. This week the group going to Beauchamp Park will have their recess and lunch at Beauchamp Park.  Your son will need to bring his recess, lunch and a water bottle.  Obviously a mask will need to be worn on the bus.

Timetable for Junior School

We are running a different timetable to allow the Junior School to be out in the playground when the remainder of the school are in class and vice versa.  It means that the boys will have three periods in a row in the morning with a crunch and sip time sometime in Periods 2 and 3.  Please ensure you pack a snack that is easy for the boys to eat in class.

( No roast dinners allowed!  It has to be quick and easy and preferable not messy.)

ADMINISTRATION: 8:42 am - 8:57 am

Allow a crunch and sip for 5 minutes in Period 2 or 3. Remember a water bottle for the classroom.

Period 1      8:57 am – 9:50 am

Period 2      9:50 am - 10:43 am

Period 3     10:43 am - 11:36 am

Recess        11:36 am - 11:56 am

Period 4     11:56 am – 12:49 pm

Period 5     12:49 pm - 1:42 pm

Lunch          1:42 pm - 2:22 pm

Period 6      2:22 pm - 3:00 pm
