Principal's Report

Roadmap diversion

All students back to school!

We are very much looking forward to seeing all students back on-site as a whole-school from this Friday 22nd October.

Until Friday, we follow the previous roadmap, set out by the Victorian Government.

It will be our first time all back together since the 20th August, so it is very exciting. Obviously we hope there will be no further remote learning or indeed any cases for our school community.  As such, please keep practicing and displaying great hygiene practices for our students to follow and learn.

Face masks

Thank you to all parents and carers for supporting another restriction change.  Students have been wonderful in adhering to new face mask legislation.  We are doing our best to implement a seamless transition to wearing masks inside, but I am aware of a couple of miscommunications.

Students in years 3-6 are required to wear a face mask inside during instruction.  They are not required to wear masks outside.

In addition, I thank community members who have provided lawful exemption reasons in a timely fashion for students not able to wear masks.

I acknowledge the First Peoples of the Wathaurong, who are the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which I work and live, and pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
