Dear Families

Last Monday, 24 May, 2021, I was fortunate to attend the Mass at St Patrick's Cathedral in commemoration of 200 Years of Catholic Education in Australia, alongside seven of our student leader representatives of our school.

As I listened to Archbishop Comensoli's homily, I reflected on his words and thought how privileged I am to be part of Catholic Education.  My primary, secondary and university education was completed through the Catholic sector and throughout this time I believe that my faith is what formed my drive and energy to continue as an educator and leader of St Anthony's School.

I believe that the staff who work in our school set the example of the charism that Catholic educators provide in living out and helping in the formation of the faith for our students. We have a diversity in cultures and beliefs among our families which formsour strength and richness.  As parents you are entrusting us to have your child as part of a catholic education and together we will see each child flourish in the image of God.

Enduring the test of time, at our school I know and am confident, that the care and safety of our students is paramount and that the staff are committed  to each child's wellbeing. Catholic education works effectively when staff, families and parish all share the same beliefs - excellence for our students.

Stay safe.
