YEAR 8 CAMP

Twenty staff and 136 students had a great week in the Grampians. The weather was perfect and the students very well behaved. It was a good opportunity to further develop relationships and it was pleasing to see students extend themselves beyond their comfort zone trying new things.

Students and staff participated in many activities including the following day activities Pinnacle hike, McKenzie Falls, Boronia Peak hike, mountain biking, high ropes, abseiling, rock climbing, Zoo, mini golf, team challenges.

Evening activities included trivia quiz, mini Olympics, torch walk, movie night.

Students made some great choices during the week, were supportive and encouraging of one another which saw a lot of students extend themselves and try new things. New friendships were made and old ones made stronger. Norval staff assisting the group said they had a great week, our students were "awesome", "fun to be around" and "amazing".

Thank you to the staff who accompanied the students. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure the camp was a success and the students benefited greatly from the experience.
