SYO HSC Winter School

Presented by three of the most experienced music educators and regular HSC markers in NSW, the SYO HSC Winter School is specially designed to assist students in Years 10, 11 and 12 to prepare for HSC music practical and written examinations in a supportive and engaging environment amongst a collaborative team of likeminded students. It is recommended for all Year 11 and 12 HSC Music 2/Extension students as well as Year 10 students preparing for HSC Music 2/Extension.

The HSC Winter School will run from Monday, 5th to Friday, 9th July 2021, from 10:00am to 2:00pm, at Santa Sabina College Strathfield or via the SYOnline Digital Platform.  More information on the program and cost is available at https://syo.com.au/our-programs/syo-open-holiday-programs/2021-hsc-winter-school/

Winterreise Soiree

The Winterreise Soiree is fast approaching and will take place on Thursday, 17th June at 7:00pm. Senior students are encouraged to add their name and details of their performance piece to the sign-up sheet at the Music Office. 

Flute Concert

Congratulations to Georgia Kustra (5/6F) and Lizzie Nealon-Cook (5/6F) who performed the flute duet “I am a fine musician” at a recent Junior School Assembly. We look forward to hearing Georgia, Lizzie and other flautists from the Junior and Senior Schools at the upcoming Flute Concert on Thursday, 10th June in the Recital Room, PAC. The concert will start at 5:00pm and finish by 6.30pm.
