Throughout Semester 1, students in Stage 2 and 3 from both Junior School campuses have been hard at work preparing for our Junior School production of Matilda Jr.

Rehearsals have been particularly productive, both within school hours and on weekends, with the students developing their skills in acting, singing and dancing to bring Roald Dahl’s classic tale to life. 

Rebellion is nigh in Matilda JR., a gleefully witty ode to the anarchy of childhood and the power of imagination! This story of a girl who dreams of a better life and the children she inspires will have audiences rooting for the "revolting children" who are out to teach the grown-ups a lesson.

Packed with high-energy dance numbers and catchy songs, Matilda JR. is a joyous romp for the whole family. Children and adults alike will be thrilled and delighted by the story of the special little girl with an extraordinary imagination.

Matilda Jr will be performed in Coote Hall (the Junior School Hall) on the following dates: Wednesday, 2nd June, 6:00pm, Friday, 4th June, 6:00pm and Saturday, 5th June, 1:00pm and 6:00pm
