FOUNDATION

The Foundation team have been reading a new book called ‘I went walking’ written by Sue Williams and illustrated by Julie Vivas. Students have been retelling the story using visuals, going on their own walks and writing about their experiences and exploring how to draw animals mentioned in the book. It has been amazing to see all the hard work uploaded to SeeSaw this term and we are extremely thankful for the dedication and support of our families. 

YEAR 5/6 

For inquiry, the 5/6 classes have been looking at different homogenous and heterogeneous mixtures. Through activities, they have explored which mixtures can be sifted or not sifted through a sieve, colander, and paper towel. The 5/6 classes also created information reports on guinea pigs. Their reports included facts on a guinea pigs’ habitat, appearance and diet. They also created a diagram on guinea pigs. Have a look at some of their excellent work below. Great work everyone!
