Principal's Message

Welcome back to Term 4

Welcome Back Everyone!

What a great way to start - one student away from the whole school! Thank you to everyone for making the start as smooth as possible!

Thank you sincerely to all our parents and families for all of your support and help over the Remote Learning period - we would never have been able to do this without you. We are so happy to have everyone back now.

Parent Q and A

Thank you to everyone who attended our Parent Q&A on Friday on Zoom on the return to onsite learning procedures. Dayna Bailey won the gold star for being able to answer the quiz question. I hope you found it useful, some of what was covered is in the newsletter and last weeks too, with additional information in the Important Information section.

If you have any questions or concerns about the return to school please don't hesitate to get in contact. All staff across the school are very mindful of the challenges students and families have faced over this period and want to make sure the return to school is a happy and smooth one.

Managing illness in schools and early childhood services during coronavirus (COVID-19).

One of the most important things we can do to slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in our community is to stay at home when we are unwell, even when we have the mildest of symptoms.

1. If a child is unwell, even with the mildest of symptoms, they must stay at home.

2. If a child has any of the symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), however mild, they should get tested and they must remain at home until they receive their results.

 3. A child must stay at home until they are symptom free, even if their coronavirus (COVID-19) test is negative.

4. Children do NOT need a medical certificate before returning to school/ECEC, once symptoms have cleared.
