Design a Mascot for the AKtive Games Update

The final scores are in for the AKtive Games Mascot design activity students have been participating in for Visual Arts. Students created a wonderful variety of mascots. Designs included robots, dragons, animals and other amazing creatures and all participants did a great job.

Congratulations to Gold House! You have added 5,800 points to your AKtive Games scores, that is an excellent effort. Well done to everyone who sent through a design, you have all contributed points towards your Games tally.

AKtive Games score update week 2

Week 2 of the AKtive games has been quite a challenge but a lot of fun as students have been given four new events to undertake. These events saw the AKtive athletes focus on their underarm and overarm throwing, their bottle flipping skills and their SOCKer dribbling skills. Once again I am extremely impressed with everyone who has submitted their scores and videos. The weekly scores have been calculated and shown below. The overall AKtive House points are exceptionally close, so submitting your scores each week is very important for your house. Once again 7 special AKtive shoutouts to the AKtive athletes that are continuing to show those super 6 skills to success

AKtive Games score update week 3

AKtive athletes continue to make me proud. The determination and effort shown by everyone is amazing! House points continue to grow and the overall scores are closer than ever. At this point in the games Blue House is leading but anything can happen as the cross country points are yet to be calculated and added to the total scores. Please continue to get your event scores and cross county kilometres to me. I would also love to hear other ways you’re staying AKtive as this may earn you extra House points!!
