Kitchen and Garden Update

It is really wonderful to see  the students returning to school next term and we're really excited to be able to hold our kitchen and garden classes again.

While students have been learning remotely, work has continued in our garden to ensure vegetables will be ready to harvest next term. We have broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage all coming along.

The warmer days will enable us to start planting our summer crops such tomatoes, zucchini and cucumber. The fruit trees are progressively blossoming, making the garden look absolutely beautiful.

This week  we continued with the usual weeding and chicken maintenance and the strawberries were lifted and divided.  Eight plants became 50 or 60 - so looking forward to the ‘fruits’ of our labour in the months to come!
